Eid Ul Adha SMS Quiz Contest

Robi is going to offer a SMS & WAP based campaign for celebrating EID UL ADHA. Robi subscribers need to play a quiz contest through SMS or/& WAP mode by subscribing SMS based service ‘Knowledge Update’ or/& WAP based service Bajao. After subscription to any or both of the services, the customers will be eligible to play the Quiz and collect points to reach to the given benchmark and be eligible to the winner of attractive prizes. A user can play the quiz in SMS or WAP or SMS & WAP both mode. The user’s score will be accumulated and combined scores will be counted to select the winner (first come first serve basis).
The campaign will run for 30 days. There will be two regular Winners, 1 winner from first 15 days & another winner from second 15 days during the campaign period who will achieve regular benchmark points of 5000. There will be ONE grand winner (not eligible for regular winners) who will be selected upon achievement of 15000 points. All these winners will be selected as First Come First Serve basis. There will be a complementary gift of TK 5000 Aarong Gift Voucher for all participants who will achieve benchmark points of 1000 during the campaign period.

  • Each MSISDN/NID number can win only one 01 time.

Winner Selection Rules:
  • To be eligible for the contest, Robi users have to subscribe and active in any of the service - Knowledge Update (SMS based service) &/or Bajao (WAP based service) during the campaign period).
  • Customers will need to reach the given benchmark points to be eligible for the winners.
  • For Prizes, user needs to reach the benchmark points to get the gift (from Day 1 to Day 30).
  • A player cannot be adjourned as the winner for more than 1 time.
  • There will be unlimited tricky bonus questions for the daily rounds and for the final round.
  • Each correct answer will carry 1 point for regular questions. For correct Bonus answer, user will get 5 points.
  • Zero (0) marking will be applicable for incorrect answer. For all questions, it will be zero (0).
  • Customers can check their scores of the day plus total score any time during the contest.
  • Whoever touches the benchmark points will be rewarded. If any user reaches to the Benchmark, only he/she will be selected as the prize winner and the campaign will be closed for everyone by informing all other participants.
  • If none reach to the benchmark, highest scorer will be adjourned as the winner for prize.

Campaign Modality & Activation / Deactivation Process:
  • Participation through SMS: Robi user needs to subscribe Knowledge Update (SMS based) service to participate to this content. Needs to send START KU to 16214 or dial *16214*1*1*1#.
  • Participation through WAP: Robi user needs to subscribe Bajao service. User can get the WAP link by sending START BAJAO to 16214 by visiting the link
  • After subscription of any one service or both the services, user can play the quiz and collect the points.
  • For SMS &/or WAP quiz, each right answer will carry 1 point and its charged TK 2.00 (+Taxes) for per quiz attempt.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answer but 0 (Zero) marking will be applicable.
  • To get the last question through SMS, user needs to send LQ or Q to 16214. For WAP part, user will get the un-answered question in Quiz segment.
  • There will be bonus question (after 5 numbers of questions). Right answer of bonus question will carry 5 points and 0 (Zero) for wrong answer.
  • If anyone stops playing, he/she will not get any question further but score will be remained as it is.
  • Subscriber can see the accumulated score (if play both SMS and WAP mode) by typing SCORE to 16214 or by visiting quiz link of Bajao portal.
  • For playing in WAP mode, data charge is applicable along with con-tent/subscription/quiz charges.
  • Registered user will get daily one SMS content from Knowledge Update service at TK 2.00 (+SD,VAT&SC) and get daily 5 Free content download facility from Bajao service at TK 2.00 (+SD,VAT&SC). Additional content download after consuming free content will be charged as per regular tariff of the service.
  • User can deactivate Knowledge Update service by sending STOP KU to 16214 or dialing *16214*1*1*2# and Bajao by sending STOP BAJAO to 16214 (or visiting the portal link) at any time.

Terms & Conditions:
  • Robi Axiata Limited & ZIP IT Limited will be solely responsible for notifying the winners and disbursing the gratifications.
  • Achieving the benchmark through any fraudulent means or using technical loop-holes will not be considered valid. Example: Using application or software (non-Human interaction) for answering questions, finding means to answer questions free of charge, spamming the system, finding means to achieve benchmark without answering question etc.
  • If any fraudulent cases are found Robi will have the right to block the user from this campaign and any other campaign in future without any compromise.
  • It will be presumed that by participating in the quiz, subscriber has fully read and understood the terms and conditions applicable for this campaign (general & specific terms and conditions-mentioned in Robi Website & portal) and have agreed to it and are obliged to maintain it.
